Welcome to the official rulebook for MXO Sports for the 2020 Supercross Season. All rules for our league will be stated here. We want to keep this sport fun, but in order to keep the competition fair we also need to keep the peace. Community feedback is always appreciated and we’ll continue to develop this as we grow.

450 CLASS

The 450 class will host as the premier class, same as real motocross/supercross.

BASICS

  • All riders are eligible to race this class, including 250 class riders. The top 5 riders in the previous season can only ride 450.
  • Bikes allowed include 450 four-strokes & 250 two-strokes.
  • If a rider scores 75 points during the season, they are locked into the 450 class and are no longer eligible to race the 250 class until next season.

NUMBERS/PLATES

  • White backgrounds, blacks numbers.
  • Red plate is for the current season points leader (see penalties below).
  • Single/double digit numbers are held by the top riders from a previous season (see penalties below).

RACING

  • Tournaments will be broken down into qualifiers/heats and a main event (two for nationals, one for supercross). Qualifiers will be determined based on the race and turnout, view our events page for more details on a specific event.
  • Point system will be based on the AMA rulebook (ex: 1st = 25 points, 2nd = 22 points, 3rd = 20 points).
  • If you are being lapped in an event, please use your best judgement and yield to the riders out front.
  • Main events are generally 20 laps in supercross, 15 in motocross.

PENALTIES

  • Blocking the track during a race will result in a suspension. Suspension time will be determined by the admins.
  • Leaving a race out of frustration will result in a DNF and possible suspension to be determined by admins.
  • Any rider running the red plate will be issued a warning. Second offense will result in being docked 5 points.
  • Any rider running a single or double digit number that is taken will be issued a warning. Second offense will result in being docked 5 points.

250 CLASS

The 250 class will be full of new & seasoned players. All riders are eligible for this class except the top 5 in a previous season.

BASICS

  • All riders are eligible to race this class, including 450 class riders, except for the top 5 riders from the previous season.
  • All riders to finish top 5 overall at the end of the 250 season must race 450’s in the following season. If you do not place top 5 in 450’s you will be eligible to drop back down to the 250 class.
  • Bikes allowed include 250 four-strokes & 125 two-strokes.
